I felt compelled to make our holiday cards this year when I stumbled upon a box of vintage ornaments (I’m guessing from the 1950s – 60s) that belonged to my grandmother. The card’s exterior design is linoleum cut, inspired by the shapes and luster of these little beauties. A touch of silver and gold pen was added to brighten the prints. A total of 63 cards were printed; three sets of 21—considered an auspicious number in Eastern philosophy. Each card is hand-numbered on the backside.
